Ken joined the Board in January, 2008. He retired in 2004 after working for 35 years in the federal public service, including 23 years as a Member of the National Parole Board. Ken has been an active volunteer in Saskatoon and has served as President of the United Way, the Saskatoon Community Foundation, the Saskatoon Golf and Country Club, and his Rotary Club. He looks forward to contributing to the important work and service being provided by the Saskatchewan Ronald McDonald House. |
| We are pleased to welcome Leo Larsen to our Board. Leo is well-known in the numbers industry, having worked as a Chartered Accountant for Northridge Developments Ltd. His community service includes Habitat for Humanity, Saskatoon Home Builders Association and NSBA. Leo has been recruited to serve as Board Treasurer. |

Doug Osborn has served in leadership positions at the House for the past twelve years. Doug is a partner with the law firm MacPherson Leslie & Tyerman. Volunteering for Saskatchewan's Ronald McDonald House has become part of the Osborn family culture, as Doug's wife Irene, and two daughters, Carolyn and Bailey, are also long time House volunteers. |
| Bette, member of the Board, more than fulfils the position of Hospital Liaison which sustains communication with the Saskatoon Health Region and Ronald McDonald House. She is Director of Maternal and Children's Health Services for the Saskatoon Health Region. |
| Kelly is the new Operations Manager for the Saskatoon and Regina McDonald's Restaurants. His career with McDonalds spans 20 years. He and his wife have recently relocated to Saskatoon and they are expecting their first baby. We welcome our newest McDonald's House friend to the Board! |

We welcome Ken Cockell to our board. Ken's McDonald's career spans over 29 years, this past 7 of those years as the owner operator of McDonald's Restaurant in Humboldt. Ken is married to Monique, celebrating 37 years, and they have three children, Paul, Cathy and Dave. When Ken is not running his restaurant, he enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time wit his 5 grandchildren. |

Jennifer is a Chartered Accountant and senior manager at Hergott, Duval, Stack and Partners. She is the very proud mom of three children, Dylan, Emma and Simon. In Jennifer's spare time, she teaches fitness classes at Quantum Fitness. She has recently found a new passion in wakeboarding. Jennifer is really enjoying her association with the House and looks forward to many years of involvement. |

Curt Halpenny joined the House Board this year, in 2010. He is a well-known,local business owner and entrepreneur, who is active in community, politics, charities and fundraising. Most recently, Curt served on the Board of Directors of Persephone Theatre, for eight years, during the theatre's successful capital campaign and construction project. Curt enjoys cottage life, travel, and outdoor activities. He is passionate about Saskatoon and community service. |

Bill, a past President of Ronald McDonald House, owner of Orko Developments and Sports Hall of Fame inductee, has been involved with the House since 1995. Bill is devoted to his wife Vivian, their three daughters and husbands and his seven grandchildren. Bill still fits in the occasional hockey game when not with his family. |

We welcome Merle Sawatsky to the Board. Merle's many years of service in the non-profit sector will be an invaluable asset to the House particularly during this exciting time of House expansion. After teaching, working in government, serving as ED of the Medical Research Foundation of Saskatchewan and Director of Development for Wanuskewin Heritage Park, Merle became a professional Event Planner and Fundraising Consultant. She is the past president of Family Service Saskatoon and past board member of the North Saskatoon Business Association, has a passion for politics and believes in volunteering to improve and support your community. She and her husband, Ken, cherish their blended family of 4 and spoil their six grandchildren. Merle understands how important it is to support the families who stay at "The House that Love Built". |

Kaylynn Schroeder is the vice-president of human resources at Cameco Corporation. She is responsible for the leadership of human resources and in addition provides direction for the facilities and records management team at Cameco Corporation. Kaylynn's role is to provide the strategic development of Cameco's business objectives relating to Cameco's future and present workforce; her assessment of employee and company needs, industry trends, employment trends, current and future costs, aligns HR programs with Cameco's business objectives. Under Kaylynn's direction, continual review and development of programs supports the diverse needs of employees and ensures that Cameco's reputation as a leading employer continues to grow. Kaylynn joined Cameco in 2007 from an international consulting firm. During her 21 years with the firm, she worked as a senior vice-president until 1994, and then as executive vice-president for the central/western regions. Kaylynn is a certified employee benefits specialist, and a fellow of the Life Management Institute. |

Michael Will is an investment advisor with Wellington West Capital in Saskatoon. He was born and raised in rural Saskatchewan near the town of Tisdale and continues to be actively involved with the family farm operation. Michael has become very involved with the community in Saskatoon through sports and being a volunteer director for the Saskatchewan Ronald McDonald House. Michael and Paula are proud parents of their daughter Kate, who would like to announce the arrival of her baby sister, Livia. |
