Adopt-A-Room Program
Launched - 2009
Ronald McDonald House Saskatchewan, located in Saskatoon, at 1011 University Drive, provides a welcome retreat for families who are often exhausted emotionally and physically following medical treatment for a seriously ill child. Approximately 650 families stay at our house annually, thirteen families at a time, from virtually every community in our province, and beyond. Our doors opened on September 12th, 1985 and currently we are the only Ronald McDonald House in Saskatchewan. Since 1985, we have housed 14,633 families (34,862 guests).
We are a not-for-profit, registered charitable organization, (Friends of Saskatchewan Children Inc. BN/Registration Number 107407983RR0001), and are governed by a dedicated volunteer Board of Directors.
We have thirteen rooms available for adoption. The cost of adopting a room is $10,000.00. This amount can be pledged over three years.
A wall plaque will placed on the door of the room that is adopted.
Our Adopt-A-Room partners will receive the Bob McLeod limited edition print of the Saskatchewan Ronald McDonald House, in the concluding year of the donation.
Our Adopt-A-Room partners will receive the option of a one-time acknowledgement in a local newspaper - the newspaper of your choice - in the concluding year of the donation.
Our Adopt-A-Room partners will be recognized on our website www.rmh.sk.ca.
Our Adopt-A-Room partners, and their guests, will be invited to a VIP reception, at the House, to honour your room adoption.
