
These folks have a two hour shift, relieving the house manager over lunch and after 5:00... They check people in and out, answer telephones and are available to our families for any questions or needs they may have.
Volunteers reside on site over the weekend, opening the office from 9:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m. — are on hand for light housekeeping and helping the guests.
Outside — snow removal, grass cutting, trimming, planting of flowers etc. depending on the season.
Inside — minor repairs keep everyone busy.
Everyone, guests, volunteers and staff, look forward to the three cookie jars filled with an assortment of goodies.
We are very proud of the condition of the house and everyone works hard to keep a very high level of cleanliness and tidiness. These are the people that help us accomplish this.
These volunteers would assist the Executive Director with fundraising activities for the current and new House. Time required would depend on the time of year. Some knowledge and experience with fundraising activities and knowledge of non-profit organizations would be helpful.
As special events volunteer, an individual would assist with all aspects of event planning. Ideally the individual would have experience with event planning and non-profit organizations.
